Lines
Well this was a task which was originally harder than i initially thought! Being able to photograph objects, plants and animals containing clear, noticeable lines was supposedly an easier start off task, but finding interesting things to photograph which captivated the eye was another matter.
Artists Photographs
This was the first Photograph that caught my eye when I was researching lines, the sheer volume of trees creates a never ending feel to the photograph. The bright green canopy of leaves above also puts emphasis on the the bottom of the image, as it is much darker.
This was also the image which gave me the inspiration for one of my own images, which is situated above,(the leaf photograph.

This photograph demonstrates pure beauty through lines and colour, The contrast between the bright flower heads and the soil, enhances the large line partitions.

This is my final artist photo, which gave me inspiration for the first image which I featured. The lines are more subtle due to there being no colour contrast, but I still feel as if it creates a super effect.
My own Photographs

The first idea which I had was a simple grass plant, but i felt that if you captured the foliage in a certain way then it would become aesthetically pleasing towards the human eye. The small, perfect lines are shown in ecru and green which really show the distinctive straight lines! |

With this image being taken on a frosty morning the lines on the top of the mushroom are shown beautifully. Due to the background of the image being dark, and the object itself being almost crystal white it helps to create a contrast to make the heart of the image stand out.

My cat is another good example of lines in photography, her markings show beautiful examples, and due to them being a verity of different colours and shades they stand out among her fur. But the two auburn ones on her cheeks are the most prominent and create the best angle for a photograph.
